The Morning Call
Today, our sports section on the Morning Call turns focus to boxing. Specifically about the return of Manny Pacquiao to the ring.
The last time the Filipino was in the ring, he lost a fight and his WBO title to American opponent, Floyd Mayweather, he subsequently announced his retirement from the sport.
Well, the man known as Pacman will resume boxing when he faces another American boxer of Mexican origin Jessie Vargas. This is a highly anticipated return, but very risky for the Pacquiao who has raised a lot of questions over fitness. Will he do better than he did in the Mayweather bout?
Will the 37 year old boxer prove otherwise over his 10 year legacy that has seen him only loose once? On the other hand, out of 27 victories, Jessie Vegas has managed 10 knock outs. The fight is scheduled for this Sunday in Las Vegas.
